KALOS announces KALOS on Air

KALOS is a music education platform designed to encourage professional musicians and music lovers all across the globe to learn and grow together. A sustainable community, KALOS allows music enthusiasts everywhere to share in the value of music by co-creating and collaborating with one another. With the launch of KALOS on Air, KALOS continues to expand its reach to a broader, global audience of music lovers.

KALOS on Air is a series of online events, including live webinars, forums, live concerts, and more, streamed to all KALOS members worldwide. This series of regularly broadcasted, high-quality music content encourages members to hone their skills and increase their knowledge on various topics, ranging from music entrepreneurship to performance techniques.

KALOS on Air events cover individual topics that are built around the expertise of its world-renowned musicians, or KALOS Creators, and common topics that more than one music professional will contribute their insights.

Regarding the launch of KALOS on Air, Founder and CEO Irene Au said, “Making music accessible to people all around the globe has always been my priority. In today’s interconnected world, the need for connection and collaboration across regions continues to grow. It is my hope that KALOS on Air inspires people with new insights, ideas, and industry knowledge.”

KALOS on Air’s webinar series kicks off with an impressive line-up of some of the world’s leading musicians and music professionals including Josef Protschka, Maddalena Del Gobbo, Victor Lowrie Tafoya, Olivia De Prato and many more.

On 12 & 19 November 2022, at GMT+8, there will be an exclusive interview with world renowned tenor Josef Protschka and his student Katleho Mokhoabane, titled “From Johannesburg to Vienna”. This interview gives us insight into how Katleho Mokhoabane made the transition from his home town to the world stage of the Vienna State Opera, with the help of a cultural exchange project and his ever-supportive coach and mentor.
